URB magazine needs interns for promotions, design, editorial and photo! This is a REMOTE internship, meaning you can do it from HOME! Below are brief descriptions of each internship position. **Please read below BEFORE contacting** EMAIL INTERNSHIPS@URB.COM PROMOTIONS -

Must be familiar AND passionate with URB community + content. We want you to LOVE what you’re promoting! – Must be forward thinking… what’s the next step? How can YOU contribute to growing the URB brand? – Will be responsible for updating URB’s various social networking platforms – Will be responsible for seeding content (contests/interviews/free downloads/etc) to various blogs and forums related to URB – May be asked to represent URB at URB magazine functions

DESIGN – Must have keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic (some projects will be time sensitive) – Must be familiar with URB community + content – Must be proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign – Knowledge of HTML is a plus – Someone who is looking to build their portfolio before graduating *IF INTERESTED, SEND YOUR COVER LETTER, RESUME AND LINKS TO ANY PREVIOUS DESIGN WORK YOU’VE DONE. PLEASE DO NOT SEND IMAGES.

EDITORIAL – Must have keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic (some projects will be time sensitive) – Must be familiar with URB community + content – Must have previous writing experience (other internships, school, blog, etc) – Must be comfortable interviewing artists via phone or in-person – Will be expected to produce daily blog content for URB.com – Will be responsible for turning in assignments to URB’s editor in a timely manner *IF INTERESTED, SEND YOUR COVER LETTER, RESUME AND 2-3 WRITING SAMPLES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO THE URB DEMOGRAPHIC. IF YOU ONLY HAVE SCHOOL PAPERS, PLEASE WRITE A MOCK REVIEW OF A RECENT ALBUM/MIXTAPE RELEASE AND A MOCK BLOG ENTRY (see urb.com/blogs). IF YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL BLOG, FEEL FREE TO SEND THAT LINK.

**UNPAID POSITION. SCHOOL CREDIT ONLY **THIS IS A REMOTE INTERNSHIP.
